Mongrel Shamans are Arcane Class gladiators that resemble anthropomorphic apes. They are mostly found in Nordagh, specifically in [[Sloan Forest|Sloan

Forest]] and Mördare. However, they can also be found in the Windward Steppes.

Like Mongrels, Mongrel Shamans get an initiative buff when near Ogres. Unlike other Arcane classes, Mongrel Shamans don't have a unique way of gaining affinity and must get into the fight until they can use their arcane abilities, which even then do not have much range or power. Their only redeeming feature is their ability to poison with both skills, and normal attacks. If engaged in a battle where Mongrel Shamans are present, leave them for last.
There is also a bug specific to the mongrel Shaman. Its passive is supposed to double affinity gain, instead of a x2 multiplier, it actually adds 0.2 affinity, which gimps it quite a bit.otherwise this class could be decent late game with earth affinity 4 every round.
